A pivot teams-of-four competition for learners & newcomers to bridge & their teachers.
Teams are to consist of 4 players comprising either: a bridge teacher provided that the other 3 members have,
within 12 months of the date of the competition, been registered on a recognised course of bridge lessons,
or four ‘Newcomers’, all with fewer than 1000 local points registered on 1st January 2008.
Each player will partner either 2 or 3 other team members depending on how many teams enter.
The competition is also open to non-members of EBU.
The entry charge is £6 per player.
(£3 for those under 25 years old)
Tea is available at an extra cost of £4 if required.
Alternatively, players may bring their own refreshments.
Beverages will be on sale.
