Send us your news
If you have something which might be of interest to bridge players in Yorkshire,
please tell us.
Rob Turner is happy to include items on the website where appropriate.
The easiest way is to
type it up as a WORD document, or as a Text file and send it
as an attachment with an e-mail to:-
rob.turner14@tiscali.co.uk
If your club holds a special event which you would like to see featured on the website,
this too can be arranged. Before the occasion an advance notice can be put on the Events page.
Afterwards, if you send Rob the results, they can be displayed as well. If the scoring has been
done on a computer, just persuade your scorer to send the results file as an e-mail attachment
with a brief explanation if appropriate. Rob can deal with most formats.
Bill Townsend writes a column every Saturday for the "Yorkshire Post" and would be happy to
receive reports from players around the county; if you have an interesting deal or an amusing
anecdote, please let him know. In addition, he hopes to include hands which would interest
improvers or average players, so if you come across hands which don't assume the reader is
conversant with the most advanced techniques - again - Bill would like to see them.
You can write to Bill Townsend at 4 Lawnswood Gardens, LEEDS LS16 6HF.
Or you can e-mail him at:- billtoyp@hotmail.com
